I've only heard Power, but I'm over Kanye. I can't buy any more of his CDs because I don't respect his bitchass personality... comin' up out my pocket to support his wack ways is a no go.

LoL. So I just noticed they shut down Limewire. What's an alternative? Though they are cracking down and trying to make examples out of those who pirate music. Honestly, I have no desire to buy entire CD's except for those I wholeheartedly support...guess that's where Itunes come it at huh  |

Mocha, the alternative is right under your nose: Google As far as the cd, i really like it, but i avoided ALL of the mixtape stuff and singles he dropped on Good Fridays. The people who i've heard that don't like it are the ones who listened to the songs already. I held out for the final version |

I think I still like Graduation a little better though. This one has some 808 Flashbacks. I did listen to all the Good Friday Leaks, but I liked them more in time instead of straight of the bat.

I use bearshare. Some of the newer stuff you have to download to your puter first, then transfer it to ipod vs ripping it and it going straight to iTunes. I have about 4k songs right now that I ripped for free. If I get a virus somehow, I got enough free music to offset the cost of cleaning that. Not to mention, I ripped some free anti virus programs too, lol.

I think I still like Graduation a little better though. This one has some 808 Flashbacks. I did listen to all the Good Friday Leaks, but I liked them more in time instead of straight of the bat. Blu - Finally got around to peeping this (I've had it downloaded for the longest). I think it's pretty good but not hardly the classic that most of the reviews are making it out to be. Like yourself, I prefer Graduation. But I will say that "So Appalled" is my joint cuz. That beat is sick and eveybody bodied their verse. It stays on repeat. A lot of other stuff been dropping too: Budden - Mood Music 4 Joel Ortiz - Free Agent J. Cole - Friday Night Lights (This is crazy) Banks - HFM2 Skillz - The World Needs More Skillz I think T.I.'s album just leaked as well. I need to take a day off just to get caught up and digest all the music. |

I've been playing Banks for awhile. Too bad he's getting the 50 Backlash...lol I prefer his album over Kanye's album... There have been a lot of cool cds dropping. Currensy's Pilot Talk II is pretty good too.

I heard two new songs off a friends bootleg cd... the one with John Legend doing all that cussing (seemed so unnatural lol) and the one where Kanye is singing the chorus to the tune of that Black Sabbath song. Anyhoo, I liked those two okay.
ETA, I haven't actually listened to the words and I'm not a fan of the autotune on the Black Sabbath jawn.

I listen to the interlude to All of the lights at least 4xs before moving forward. That violin does something to me.....
I like the cd from beginning to end.... Kanye can do no wrong in my eyes

With all the leaks I can see how song of the tracks could be boring to some... I definitely think it could have done less leaks to keep the newness of the cd.... its just something about it that resonates with me...

I am sad Nicki Minaj sold more the Kanye this week...
Its definitely not going to be the same... Hip Hop is selling like the 80's ... we are too mainstream for that...

Yeah, I knew Nicki would eventually edge him out. Kanye's cd doesn't seem as mainstream friendly as his past albums. If they don't nip this download situation in the bud, it's never going back. I have to admit that it does help prevent consumers from spending money on a crappy investment.. Sadly, there are too many of those now that hip hop has started producing way more crap..
