When the Jets jump up to #5 in last year's draft to select Mark Sanchez, people (commentators) love it. It was a "good move" and he reminded them of Joe Namath, blah blah blah. Fast forward to the present, now people (commentators)...these same people (commentators), are saying they don't think he's the right QB for them, he's not the one to take them to the SB, blah blah blah....
See, this that bullshit I be talking about...gotta love how the avg joe becomes a master talent evaluator. This is why i watch shit on mute...this is exactly why.

touche Damie. I'll argue that we didn't gameplan for Vick and his 100 yards rushing. And, at times, the O line looked like the O line from early last year. However, pttin' up 27 on Philly, in phlly againtst their number one D ain't an easy thing to do. I'll leave out the fact that we were layin' the wood to those fools, sending many an Eagle off the field on a stretcher.  It's early tho. Of all the winners in the NFC, our win is one of the few solid wins that wasn't decided by one play/call/non-call, etc.....the giants and seahawks were the only teams to oustcore us in the NFC..... |

I'm pretty sure Kolb will do his part to lose that job on his own merit.
Typically, a QB won't lose his job due to injury. But the bigger reason they're gonna keep him as the starter is to save face. They traded Donovan, put all that money and hype into Kolb, etc, and they're gonna ride that decision til' the wheels fall off. Big investment that they're not just gonna give up on. I kinda understand, but I also agree that Vick is the better QB.
Kolb will eff up again, that's why i'm not worried.

aight, we got the bears on monday night - The Rivalry. And it's for first place and one game lead in the division. This has all the makings of a classic NFC CENTRAL (not North), old school game. I expect nothing less than a combined four or five personal fouls.
