Bro. Kwame up there trying to be a "playa," and his big ass got caught!! It's really a shame, because he's a sharp young brother who had a great political future ahead of him. He had mad support from some big-time names when he ran for Mayor of Detroit, namely, a previous mayor, Bro. Dennis Archer, just to name a few. I met him when he spoke at one of the luncheons at the 2003 National Convention in Detroit, and I knew then that he was a cocky mofo...which I really didn't have a problem with; after all he is an Alpha. BUT, he let his cockiness get him a deep hole of isht with this one...pun intended! He's got a serious situation on his hands, and I'm not sure he's gonna recover politically from this. He is ANYTHING but sharp. I've heard him speak about his plans for Detroit at the Mayors Conference in '07. Idiot...Coleman doesn't fall far from the "Detroit Mayor's Apple tree" either. I don't have a problem with cockiness..... <--cocky son-a-gun... But have a purpose behind it. I guess he's cocky because he's an Alpha **shrugs**...I guess that's a good reason.... ...in relative terms, of course. On the contrary...he is a very sharp young man, but unfortunately for him, he didn't use his good sense and saavy in a way that would benefit the city of Detroit, or himself. Careless and reckless...and he will sure as hell pay for it!! If he WASN'T sharp, this incident wouldn't be as dissappointing as it is, because nothing would have been expected of him from the onset. As far as the cocky comment goes....well, I guess he'd "have not gotten caught if he were a Kappa" according to your brother in an earlier post. cocky....indeed, and in this case, unfortunately too damned cocky to think he wouldn't have to answer for his actions! He fucked up...no one is denying that, and we, the brothers of Alpha are probably more pissed about it than most ! No excuses are being made for him from within the ranks! The brothers are letting his ass have it as we type on this forum!! |

Regardless of his fraternal affiliation...he is a BLACK MAN and that's what hurts the most. I hate to see a man of color get caught up in mess such as this. It's a sad situation.

Here is my thing, I don't condone cheating (especially if you are married) but if you gonna do it, LEAVE NO EVIDENCE! Especially if you are in the position that he is in. In all honesty, I hate to say this, but whatever he gets, he deserves.

Someone said he won't step down, and another poster said he may not have a choice. I'm leaning toward the latter! If the scandal of the affair was all that he's covered up in, it might be different. The other issues of missuse of city money, wild social functions and terminating of "whistle-blowers" have him covered from head to toe. |
